Bowls

Welcome to the Bowls Club, proudly affiliated with Walsall Cricket Club.

 

​We are a warm and friendly club and will be delighted to welcome new members of all ages and abilities.

 

Experience is neither necessary nor essential, the only requirements are enthusiasm and a pair of flat shoes! We can supply the equipment and coaching.

​

Throughout the season, in addition to our club sessions, we hold a variety of competitions, matches and social events, including a weekly coffee morning.  All members are encouraged to take part in all activities.  It's the quickest way to learn and improve!

​

More recently, we have introduced a fun croquet session on Saturday afternoons, which again is open to everyone to play, bring friends and family along.  The clubhouse bar is also open for mid-afternoon refreshments.

​

The bowls doesn't stop once the green closes for the winter.  From October we move to indoor bowling at Bloxwich Leisure Centre on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10:00am - 12:00pm.  This enables our members to play throughout the year and just as importantly, maintain the social aspect of the club by meeting up together during the winter months.

So if you've never played bowls before or are an experienced player come and join one of the club sessions where you will be most welcome.  You will find us beyond the car park behind the hedge!

Our membership offers fantastic value, with just £25 per annum giving you unlimited access to the bowling green throughout the season.  As we are affiliated to the cricket club members also have to have a Cricket Club membership too which is £75 however we do offer a discount to brand new members, which is £50 for the first year.  

 

It will allow you to enjoy the Cricket Club's facilities, including discounted bar prices.
